American Wagyu is a cross between the famous Wagyu breed and Angus. Cross-breeding with Wagyu results in beef that has amazing marbling - giving it a tender, juicy, and flavorful. We hear from customers that this is the best beef they've ever had. Our mission is to produce beef that is good for the families of Utah. You might be surprised to know that American Wagyu not only tastes amazing but the type of fat that gives it it's flavor is a healthier option than fats in other breeds.
High in Oleic and Conjugated Linoleic Acid
Not all fat is the same and some types are more healthy than others. Wagyu naturally develops healthy fatty acids, oleic and conjugated linoleic acid. Conjugated linoleic acid has been associated with better immunity and lower inflammation.
Pasture Raised and Locally Sourced
Cattle on Windy Ridge Ranch are raised in pastures in Cache Valley, Utah and Bloomington, ID. They never see a feed lot. This means they have room to roam and fresh grass to graze.
