We raise two types of beef on Windy Ridge, both selected because of unique properties that make them healthier.
Grass-fed cattle are lower in overall fat content. The fat they do put on is a higher proportion of beneficial fatty acids like Omega-3.
American Wagyu cattle are higher in fat content but the type of fat they put on, oleic and conjugated linoleic fatty acieds, is healthier than the fats found in other breeds.

INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS
Some cattle are let out to range and spend their lives eating sage which can create a gamey flavor in the meat.
Our cattle spend their lives eating the grass on Windy Ridge so the finished meat tastes delicious. We feed this meat to our families, friends, and customers and the reviews come back with a resounding, "This meat is delicious!"
